The Most Powerful Word in your Vocabulary

Whats going on, Team?

Before I get started I want to thank you for reading this post today.  I enjoy your feedback and I love watching this blog slowly grow.  I hope that I can continue to inspire you to find your passions and become the strongest version of yourself.

Now down to business.

What is the STRONGEST and most POWERFUL word in your vocabulary?

Is it KNOWLEDGE?

Is it PASSION?

Is it IMAGINATION?

Is it CONQUER?

It is none of these, and is certainly not what you think.

What is the most powerful word in your vocabulary?

“NO”

NO, NAH, NO THANKS, NOT WORTH IT, CANT, WONT: All of these.

NO makes or breaks your goals, your dreams, your passions.  This word is the summary of all the negativity in your life.  And once you allow this unproductive, toxic attitude in your life you will fail.

Saying NO to something is probably the easiest thing in the world.  Its easy to say no to things you know are good for you, so why not say NO to the things that are unproductive and bad for you?  Stick to your guns!

Every time you say no to the things that essential towards achieving your dreams, you are giving up on those things your heart desires.

NO stops you from working out every day.

NO stops you from eating healthier.

NO prevents you from finding a s/o.

NO prevents you from becoming the strongest version of yourself.

Remove NO from your vocabulary, and do the things you need to do in order to achieve.  It’s that simple!

I hope this helps put people on the right path.

  1. Good points but “no” can also be such a power for the positive. People can easily say no to themselves but they have a hard time saying no to co-workers, friends and family. I’ve dealt with many people who’s lives were so full of other people’s priorities that they were unable to accomplish their own dreams. My first job was a matrix hierarchy. Basically, anyone at a manager or partner level would grab anyone at a staff level for any project that came along. They didn’t know what else you had on your plate. They taught us all the power of saying “no” to the next project when our plates were full. Most important lesson I’ve learned.
